Each project is developed through a project-specific company (SPV). Vestronis acts as originator and developer and coordinates the parties each project needs. Contracting authorities keep their public role. Investors, lenders, contractors and operators each take the part their expertise suits.
Environmental, social and governance considerations are part of how we screen and develop opportunities, not something added at financial close.
We refer to these frameworks during screening. A reference does not mean certification, endorsement or confirmed alignment for any individual project.

We publish a project only at the level its counterparties have approved. Many opportunities stay confidential until a mandate is formalised, and they never appear on this page.

Considering environmental and social requirements from the outset lowers cost, shortens lender due diligence and improves outcomes for communities.
Environmental and social due diligence is often treated as a late-stage lender requirement. Treating it that way tends to add cost and delay, and sometimes forces a redesign.
Early screening against recognised frameworks, such as the IFC Performance Standards or the EBRD Environmental and Social Requirements, finds issues while design choices are still open. Land acquisition, biodiversity, labour conditions and community impact all shape the route, site and schedule.
A proportionate scoping exercise, a stakeholder map, a gap analysis against the relevant standard and an E&S action plan with owners and dates. These documents then support lender review rather than being written for it.
Referring to a standard is not the same as meeting it. Alignment should only be stated once it has been assessed and, where relevant, independently reviewed.
